Omsk Tsentralny Airport - Аэропорт "Омск Центральный"

JSC Omsk Airport, in Western Siberia, is the oldest airport in Russia. Officially inaugurated in May, 1929, it gained international status in 1997.

Owned at 85% by the State, Omsk-Tsentralny is one of the largest 30 Russian airports in terms of passenger, cargo and mail transportation. Currently Omsk Airport services over 50 airlines. In 2007, 280,000 passengers were transported from the Omsk airport, and its nearby Tara terminal, an increase of 122% from the previous year. Cargo transportation increased 24% in 2007 to more than 293,000 tons. A 1,400-strong workforce provides round-the-clock services.

Reconstruction of the passenger terminal began in 2006. The same year, automated passenger registration systems such as “Sabre”, “SITA”, “Regina” and "Dome" were introduced. In 2007, the airport launched electronic ticketing.
