Federal State Unitary Enterprise “MMPP Salut” is the biggest Russian enterprise specialized in design and manufacturing of gas turbine engines for different purposes.

Set up in 1912, it was the first Russian plant for production of aviation engines.
Current activities comprise manufacture and maintenance of Al-31F/FN and Al-31FM1 engines for the Su-27 aircraft family, AI-222 for Yak-130 operation trainer; repairs gas turbine engines, among them Al-21F (for Su-22 aircraft and Su-24), R-15B-300 (for MiG-25 aircraft), Al-31F, etc; it also produces units and parts for aviation engines D-436Т1/TP (for civil aircraft Be-200, Tu-334) and D-27 (for An-70); and it designs and manufactures industrial power plants with a capacity of 1-60 MW and gas pump stations such as GTD-12-20S, GTD-1000 and CCGT units.

FSUE MMPP Salut has a strong scientific and production potential, design bureaus and a wide range of industrial production and repair facilities.

FSUE MMPP Salut is the basic element of an integrated structure which includes the following enterprises and organizations: Omsk Motor Construction Enterprise of P.I.Baranov, NPP Temp of F.Korotkov (Moscow), JSC KB “Elektropribor” (Saratov), JSC GMZ “Agat” (Gavrilov-Yam), JSC NIIT (Ufa), JSC “Topaz” (Kishinev), Machine Building Design Bureau “Granit” (Moscow), NIID (Moscow), MKB “Gorizont” (Dzerzhinsky, Moscow region), VMZ “Salut” (Moscow region), State Enterprise “Pribor” (Bendery, Pridnestrovskaya Moldova Republic).

FSUE MMPP Salut has tight economic and production contacts with a range of enterprises and organizations in Russia and CIS and develops new partnerships.

According to the global strategy of increasing production efficiency, IT is implemented on all stages of the product operational cycle and production management.

The company boasts modern equipment by leading world and Russian engineering tool manufacturers. Its training complex on the basis of Institute of Target Training of Engine Construction Specialists organizes training, retraining and advanced training of engineers and technicians in partnership with 12 leading Russian higher education institutions.
